Best Day Ever - removing the most invasive species in North America

Hauled a truck load of manure from my friend with two horses. And tilled that in to the natural clay with some wood chips I got for free last year.

Planted perennials - raspberries, blueberries, and more.

Made way (pulled sod) to expand the native prairie we am putting in by twice its size. It is approaching 10% of my property in just three years. It is maybe 15x25 feet on a .25 acre lot. I saved all the seeds from last year and purchased some new plants from the ISU students who use native seed stock.

Can't wait to plant again. I have find myself closest to mother earth (God) while planting. Dirty hands is the Lords stewardship work for me.

Bonded with my wife. Didn't over eat. Snuggled each of my kids (2).

Friends stopped by. Watched a movie and ate pizza with the kids.

Straightened out some messes on my computer.

Looking at a new opportunity for me and feeling very excited about it.

Best part, thought today was Monday when I woke up.
Worst part, tomorrow will be Monday when I wake up.

Not much for praying but I wish for a "Ground hog day" experience.

Simply perfect!
